FAA and JAA Passenger Oxygen Requirements
The passenger oxygen system must supply sufficient oxygen to passengers in accordance with the following conditions:
For Turbine Powered Airplanes:
FAR Paragraph 121.329(c)(1)
(See 121.333(e))
JAR-OPS Paragraph 1.770(b)(2)(i)
Rule Between 10,000 and 14,000 feet, oxygen is required for 10-percent of the passengers for the part of the flight that is greater than 30-minutes duration Between 14,000 and 15,000 feet, oxygen is required for 30-percent of the passengers for the entire part of the flight at those altitudes Above 15,000, oxygen is required for 100-percent of the passengers for the entire part of the flight at those altitudes

FAR Paragraph 121.333(e) JAR-OPS Paragraph Rule Between 10,000 and 14,000 feet, oxygen is required for 10-percent of the passengers for the entire flight at those altitudes Supersedes FAR 121.329(c)(1)
