GEN 1.5 AIRCRAFT INSTRUMENTS, EQUIPMENT AND FLIGHT DOCUMENTS 1. 1.1 RADIO COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS Aircraft must be equipped with radio communications systems capable of continuous communication according to the flight classification and airspace category. The systems specified in the following table are the minimum required for the particular operation and except where otherwise indicated must be of a type approved by the CASA, properly installed in the aircraft and serviceable on the departure of the flight.
